Stormwater Asst Division Manager

Starting Salary: $61,963 to 79,370 per year, depending on qualifications
NATURE OF WORK:
Performs administrative, managerial, and supervisory work involving the planning, organizing and management of the stormwater-related activities in the Streets and Stormwater Division. Responsibilities include the accurate maintenance of the database used to support the billing system for the stormwater utility enterprise fund; collection and maintenance of water quality data for all City lakes; monitoring and compliance with environmental codes and regulations for public and private activities; implementation of public awareness and education programs; research on stormwater management alternatives; supervision of construction activities undertaken by the division's stormwater construction crews; supervision of storm sewer inspection and maintenance programs; and supervision of the surface water maintenance program.
Bachelor degree in civil or environmental engineering, biology, or limnology, plus five years experience in planning, design, and maintenance of storm drainage systems including at least two years in supervisor or manager roles; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience in aquatics, lake and lakeshore management, and storm system construction and maintenance desired.
