Starting Salary: $59,113 to 75,750 per year, depending on qualifications
NATURE OF WORK:
Performs responsible professional, technical and supervisory work involving the operations and maintenance of all engineering aspects of the Orlando Venues facilities and utility service support systems. Supervises and performs all repairs and troubleshooting to the building HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration systems. Must have a thorough working understanding of energy management systems and ice making equipment.
WORK SCHEDULE will include evenings, weekends, and holidays in accordance with event calendar and division needs.
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or related field plus four years experience in physical plant maintenance, including three years as supervisor or manager in related setting; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Related vocational or other training/education will be counted on a year-for-year basis. Experience in all building systems including pneumatics, electrical high and low control voltages, air conditioning, refrigeration, and general facilities maintenance required. Experience in modern, technologically advanced public facilities preferred. Must possess EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling. Florida driver license required.
