Join Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer for
ONE LESS CAR, ONE MORE PARK
On April 22, 2015, some of the most creative minds in Orlando will transform on-street parking spaces into active green spaces.
Orlando’s One Less Car, One More Park event encourages people to leave their cars at home and take alternate transportation methods (walking, bicycling, carpooling, public transit, etc.) by re-imagining now empty parking spaces into parklets for the community to enjoy.
Please join us this Earth Day at Lake Eola in the Thornton Park District between 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. In addition to fresh new ideas for park spaces, information will be provided on local transportation projects.
Hosted by the City of Orlando and Thornton Park District.
