The City of Orlando offers public parking at 9 garages, 3 surface lots, and many off-street parking spaces all centrally located around the downtown area. Each type of parking offers different benefits. The Parking Division also offers prepaid parking cards such as a garage debit card, a meter debit card, or garage access card.  GARAGE PARKINGA garage is a covered facility. Parkers may either pull a ticket at the entrance and pay as they leave or swipe in and out with a monthly parking card. All event parking is pay upon entry. Payment accepted: Cash is always accepted. Checks are often accepted during the day. Checks are not accepted for evening or event parking. The following garages accept a City of Orlando Garage Debit Fast Pay Card: Central, Courthouse, Church Street and Library. Benefits: Covered, protects car from sun and rain. Lighted. Security.
