PARKING

What does it mean when I see a sign that says No Public Parking,
Access Cards only?

Occasionally a garage reaches capacity even if parking spaces are still visible.  A sign will be put in front indicating that there is no public parking available.

A portion of spaces in each facility is used for hourly parking, the remainder is pre-sold to monthly parkers.  The Parking Division is obligated to hold spaces available for monthly contract holders.

If a garage or lot is at capacity, please continue to the next ParkSmart facility such as Courthouse Garage located near East Amelia St. and Magnolia Ave. and take the free air-conditioned Lymmo shuttle that circulates Downtown Orlando.

Does the Parking Division have limited or unlimited use for monthly parking?

Monthly cardholders have 2 options for parking in our garages; Limited, (most commonly used), allows monthly parkers garage access from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Unlimited access, (24/7, no overnight parking), is for monthly parkers to park during normal operating hours. Approximately ten percent of the garage will be set-aside for unlimited cardholder access. This allows the garage to meet the demands of the hourly parker. The future allocation of unlimited and event parking availability is subject to change based on evaluation of parking needs.
