Meter Rentals
Street meters can be rented for events such as construction, film/photo
productions and other special events that last less than 30 days.
Meter rentals are subject to review and based on availability. If you are interested in renting a meter, you may fill out the
Meter
Rental Application and submit the competed form by mail or in person
no less than 24 hours in advance. Payment is
required at time of approval and prior to rental date.
The daily rental rate of meter rental is $15.00 per day,
per space, plus sales tax. Meter rentals start and end at 6:00
a.m. with a minimum of 24 hours advance notice. The City charges
for usage of meters on the street seven (7) days per week.

Payment
Payment can be made in person or by mail.
Enforcement of Rented / Reserved Meters
Renting parties are responsible to monitor the spaces for authorized
vehicles. Should an unauthorized vehicle be parked in a reserved
space, the renting party should contact the Parking Division at
407.246.2256 during normal business hours, Monday thru Friday
between
8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and a Parking Enforcement Specialist will be
dispatched to ticket/tow vehicle. The renting party must be present
with a copy of the paid receipt to advise the Enforcement Specialist
which vehicle is to be removed. Any time after Parking Division
business hours, the Orlando Police Department must be contacted at
321.235.5300. You will need to present your paid receipt in order
to have a vehicle towed from your reserved space.
Towing Under no circumstances does the renting party have the authority to tow a vehicle off city
streets or city owned property, per city ordinance.
Report Broken Meters:
If you wish to report an out-of-order meter, please call
the parking division at 407.246.2450 or
email the number of the meter.
The meter number is
located on the outside of the meter housing.
