Downtown Orlando (parade begins at the corner of Orange Avenue and Robinson Street)
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Each year, Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Mayor’s Veterans Advisory Council host the City of Orlando’s Veterans Day Parade. One of Orlando’s signature events, the parade includes local veterans organizations, members of the active military, bands, floats and more coming together to pay tribute to those who have fought for our freedom. The 2014 parade will recognize the patriotism of the Gold Star Mothers, an organization whose members have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country.
The parade application deadline for the 2014 parade has passed. For more information, contact the City of Orlando Office of Communications & Neighborhood Relations at 407.246.3104. There are no opportunities for vendors to participate in this event.
Patrons attending the Veterans Day Parade are encouraged to use the following parking garages:
Library Garage, 112 E. Central Blvd.
Central Garage, 55 W. Central Blvd.
Patrons should access the garages from the west, taking N. Garland Ave. or Hughey Ave. to Central Blvd.
