Downtown Orlando (parade begins at the corner of Orange Avenue and Robinson Street)
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Each year, Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Mayor’s Veterans Advisory Council host the City of Orlando’s Veterans Day Parade. One of Orlando’s signature events, the parade includes 100 units consisting of local veterans organizations, members of the active military, bands, floats and more coming together to pay tribute to those who have fought for our freedom.
Is your veterans, military or ROTC group or band interested in participating in the parade? Fill out the application below and return it to the City of Orlando by September 30, 2014. For more information, contact the City of Orlando Office of Communications & Neighborhood Relations at 407.246.3104. There are no opportunities for vendors to participate in this event.
The City of Orlando operates 12 parking garages/lots in Downtown Orlando and many of the locations provide easy access to the parade route. The free LYMMO circulator is recommended for Downtown residents. Street closure information will be added at a later date.
