City of Orlando Wastewater Division Overflow Alert
Notification: As a response to the Emergency Directive issued by Governor Rick Scott concerning public notification of possible pollution (http://www.dep.state.fl.us/pollutionnotice), the City of Orlando Wastewater Division has developed a public alert system to provide notice of any Wastewater system overflows which have occurred within the city limits. Provided below is an announcement regarding the location of the overflow.

City Response: City of Orlando Wastewater crews have responded to the reclaimed water overflow, and have repaired the issue with the damaged reclaimed water pipe which caused the overflow. As a precaution, City of Orlando crews have isolated the area surrounding the overflow, and will make the necessary repairs to the reclaimed water supply in an effort to restore full service. Residents are urged to stay clear of any reclaimed water, as illness in humans and animals can occur from the direct contact or consumption of reclaimed water. If the reclaimed water has made contact with the stormwater system in the area, the City of Orlando Stormwater Division will be notified to asses water contamination.
