Project Update for September 14:
Upon further inspection of the 12″ sanitary sewer line running beneath Altaloma Ave, it has been determined that a collapsed pipe has been the cause of the blockage and back up which occurred on the afternoon of September 12. The extent of the sewer line collapse has made it necessary for the entire 12″ diameter sanitary sewer line running beneath Altaloma Avenue to be replaced. The City of Orlando Sewer Evaluation and Maintenance (SEM) crews have properly diverted the flow of sewer from the area and the current roadways closed to through traffic in the area will remain closed to thru traffic until the pipe can be replaced early next week. For more information please contact Daniel Friedline by phone at 407.246.2657 or email email@example.com.
During the evening of September 12, it was identified that a blockage had occurred in the 12″ sewer line located beneath Altaloma Ave. Due to the immediate need to repair the line and return sewer service to the area, the work to repair the sewer line is currently underway by the City of Orlando Wastewater Sewer Evaluation and Maintenance Crews (SEM). Crews will be working diligently to correct the issue within the sanitary sewer but please be aware that the construction work in the area has required a shift in the current lane traffic between E. Robinson Street and Hardwood Street.
The work is already underway and will continue until the issue has been resolved and the roadway repaired. For more information regarding the lane closures or updates concerning the repair of the sewer line, please contact Daniel Friedline by phone at 407.246.2657 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
